Mark Mckelvie

Painter, musician, and software engineer based in Sicily, Italy. From California, having lived in Portland and New York, with over a decade building software in San Francisco.

The art spans portraiture, figures, landscapes, and narrative scenes — jazz musicians, writers, filmmakers, dancers, and the quiet moments between. Oil, gouache, graphite, and digital.

The music includes solo work and recordings with The Jimis in Long Beach. Gigroad — a platform connecting bands, venues, and fans — is an ongoing dream and creation.

Currently an iOS engineer at Coral Gardeners in French Polynesia, building tools for coral reef restoration and ocean conservation.
