Mark Mckelvie

Painter, musician, and software engineer based in Sicily, Italy. Originally from Portland, Oregon, with over a decade spent building software in San Francisco.

The paintings draw heavily from jazz, literature, and portraiture — oil and graphite studies of the people and worlds that have shaped how I see. Miles, Monk, Coltrane, Beckett, Camus, Gainsbourg.

Currently an iOS engineer at Coral Gardeners in French Polynesia, building tools for coral reef restoration and ocean conservation.
